Short version: We collect only what's necessary to provide the service. We don't sell your data. You can delete your account and data at any time.
When you create an account: email address, name (optional), and country (optional). When you use the Service: property checks you run, reports you purchase, and usage patterns (pages visited, search queries). When you submit a lead form: contact details you provide (email, phone, Telegram) and your stated budget and country. We do not collect payment card data — this is handled exclusively by Stripe.
We use your data to: provide the Service (run checks, generate reports, send transactional emails); enforce usage limits on the free plan; send product updates and relevant information about Vietnamese property regulations (you can opt out at any time); connect you with referred legal or agent partners when you request it; analyse usage to improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We share data only with: Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure, EU-based servers); Stripe (payment processing — only your email, not card details); Resend (transactional email delivery). If you submit a lead form requesting a legal or agent referral, your contact details are shared with the relevant vetted partner. We will always tell you before this happens.
We use minimal cookies required for authentication (Supabase session tokens). If you have opted in to analytics (Plausible), aggregate, anonymised page view data is collected. Plausible is GDPR-compliant and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Check history and generated reports are retained for 12 months. Lead form submissions are retained for 24 months for follow-up purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@vietnampropertycheck.com.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a machine-readable format; withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vietnampropertycheck.com.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Supabase uses AES-256). Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensure you can only access your own data. Report PDFs are stored in private, access-controlled storage with time-limited signed URLs. We conduct regular security reviews.
